A note on a medieval and post-medieval site at 170–174 Bury Street, Ruislip, Middlesex

J R Hunn

A series of evaluation trenches dug in advance of redevelopment revealed a small amount of medieval occupation debris and the wall of a post-medieval structure. This is interpreted as belonging to an individual toft, one of many once situated between Bury Street and the medieval hunting park known as Park Wood. The pottery ranges from the early/mid 11th century to the 16th and 17th centuries..
