A Roman seal-box lid

The Museum of London has recently acquired a copper alloy seal- box lid decorated with a scene of Cupid being punished for mistreating Psyche. Cupid is bound to a column on top of which sits the griffin of Nemesis; in front of him, his mother Venus sits upon a rock.
