Guidance notes
You can enter title keyword(s), author keyword(s) or both. The search is not case specific. “ROMAN” is treated the same as “rOmAn”.
You can use the Boolean operators “and/or” to join the title/author keywords. The default is “and”. Click the box for “or”. [“Neolithic and Smith” will return all the papers on the Neolithic by Smith; “Neolithic or Smith” will return all the papers on the Neolithic and all the papers by Smith.]
You cannot at present use Boolean operators within the title and author boxes. You may enter multiple keywords within each box but they will be treated as “string literals”. [“Bronze Age” will return “A Bronze Age spearhead from London” but not “The use of bronze in Iron Age London”.] For this reason, note that if you type “London ” you will exclude entries with “London” at the end of the title.
